Dr. Stefan Schwarz, leads the industry & business consulting practice for Central Europe, UK & Ireland (CEUKI). Together with his teams, he works very closely with Teradata’s customers in the different geographies advising with their business transformation towards truly data driven companies.
Before he joined Teradata in May 2010, Stefan had served as Vice President Customer Management at 1&1 Internet AG in Karlsruhe. In this role, he maximized customer base revenue, margin & profitability, with a P&L responsibility for more than1billion euros.
Prior to this, he was Group Executive CRM at Vodafone Global Services in Newbury (UK), where he developed Vodafone’s global customer strategy with a focus on customer loyalty and retention. As the Director CRM & Information Management at Lycos Europe, Bertelsmann AG, he masterminded the European CRM and direct marketing strategies, innovated and implemented significant new revenue streams.
After graduating from the University of Münster as Master of Administration and Information Systems, Stefan completed his doctorate in Business Engineering at the University of St. Gallen. Following his studies in Europe, he was a visiting scholar at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Stefan is a well-known speaker at international conferences on topic like “data driven transformation”, “digitizing blue chips”, “big data monetization” and “Internet of Things (IoT)”.
