Presentation Abstract:
Companies around the globe use both Teradata and SAP products, and use different business intelligence (BI) tools to analyze that data. SAP and Teradata worked together and provide NetWeaver® Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW) on the Teradata database. Through the integration of SAP NetWeaver BW, SAP® BusinessObjects™ software and Teradata Active Enterprise Data Warehouse™ solutions, customers will be able to consolidate all enterprise information in one place, increasing visibility into detailed information and enabling faster, better decision-making. SAP BusinessObjects information management (IM) and BI solutions complete the picture for end-to-end data warehousing and analysis.
- Speaker Bio:
Dr. Xia Zhang is CTO, SAP Greater China, responsible for strategic business development in new solutions areas such as business user solutions and business process platform. He is an evangelist for IT technology adoption in China, and has been very active in IT and business community in China. His career interests focused on creating business value by business innovation and technology management.
Dr. Zhang was CTO for Retail Banking and Credit Card Center, Bank of China in 2002-2005. Dr. Zhang worked for Ford Motor Company from 1993 to 2002 in various positions, with Ford Microelectronics, Ford Research Lab, Corporate IT and Finance, and held the position of CIO of FordDirect from 2000-2002.
Dr. Zhang graduated from Peking University with a B.S. degree, from Rice University with both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, and from Wayne State University with a Master degree in engineering management.
